Every participating student receives a Certificate. For each assessment, the Certificate is awarded to students who are placed in the following region (all participating students) percentile band
* with effect from 2009
Medals are awarded for each class and subject across the region (all participating students). Medals are awarded when a top score is judged to be sufficiently meritorious.
UNSW Medals: For the toppers among all participants, in each subject, at each class level.
EAA-Macmillan Medals: For the toppers of each state/country, in each subject, at each class level.
The awarding of all medals and certificates is at the discretion of EAA. To be eligible for a medal, students must have participated in the Assessments on the official dates and sit only for the paper for the class in which they are currently enrolled.
Schools must ensure that standard invigilation procedures are followed during the examinations.
EAA reserves the right to withhold medals wherever the results reveal that students may not have answered the papers independently.
